Indiana anglers are now ice fishing. They're doing pretty darn good too ! Some nice catch's of largemouth bass, perch, bluegill, and a few crappie being caught. Northern Indiana has the best ice with 3 to 4 1/2 inch thick ice. Central Indiana ice is firm, but thin. Ponds and pits are locked up, but not safe. Anglers are catching bluegill, chsnnel cats, bass, and crappie. Still open water on the bigger lakes.
